The client wanted a Grid-Tie system with small backup and a Grid-Tie system with on line UPS and battery backup was proposed.
In order to meet the load requirement, a system which can produce 23.4 units per day is required. Therefore, a 5 kWp Grid – Tie system was proposed.
An on line UPS of 3 kVA is required to meet 1.95 kWp connected load. Hence, a 5 kWp Grid – Tie system with 3 kVA on line UPS and 75 Ah @ 12 V battery bank was proposed.
The proposed system generates 23.38 units per day at STC
